Flores "The shaman"

Flores is the “shaman” of the village. He lives in the countryside, a couple of hour’s walk from Olleros. He lives with his wife and two sisters. His sons left for Lima , the capital of Perú, to escape the terrorism in the 1980s. He says he was very lucky during those violent years, because the shamans were normally persecuted and murdered. They were accused of sorcery and theft by the terrorists, who did not share the Andean beliefs of the village people.
